About the role
- Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all quality Engineering functions for assigned product lines.
- Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
Responsibilities
- May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
Requirements
- and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal pro-actively with work-related problems.
- Manages foreign country required documentation process and review.
Nice to have
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft preferred. (A&P preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and strong phone etiquette.
Skills
- Proficient in Excel, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
- SAP experience a plus Ability to understand work and procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
- Incorporates Lean and P3E processes and concepts into daily activities.
- Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures.
- Satisfies work schedule requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
