- As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will have overall responsibility for maintaining client facilities located in Calgary and the greater Calgary area.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic tours and log readings.
- Performs duties related to cleaning, painting, garbage removal, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical duties.
- Builds and maintains client and supplier/vendor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the industry.
- Assists in developing and implementing quality control programs.
- SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment.
- Maintains a professional demeanour with clients, fellow employees.
- Practices responsible driving, and performs basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
Requirements
- supervises sub-contractors and assists them as required
- verifies that required work is completed and reports any deficiencies with proposed remedial actions.
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Nice to have
- Class 5 or Class 4 Power Engineering Certification considered a plus.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 plus years of experience in facilities maintenance.
