  • As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will have overall responsibility for maintaining client facilities located in Calgary and the greater Calgary area.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic tours and log readings.
  • Performs duties related to cleaning, painting, garbage removal, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical duties.
  • Builds and maintains client and supplier/vendor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the industry.
  • Assists in developing and implementing quality control programs.
  • SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment.
  • Maintains a professional demeanour with clients, fellow employees.
  • Practices responsible driving, and performs basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.

Requirements

  • supervises sub-contractors and assists them as required
  • verifies that required work is completed and reports any deficiencies with proposed remedial actions.
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Nice to have

  • Class 5 or Class 4 Power Engineering Certification considered a plus.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 plus years of experience in facilities maintenance.
