About the role
- SUMMARY The Staff Solutions Architect is Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader within the New Logo team, with a focus on the Western region.
- Your contribution is vital in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal's platform well.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers within customer organizations, ensuring they fully leverage Temporal's capabilities.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of
- Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal's supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.

Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000.
- This is a base salary and variable role with a 70/30 split.
