  • In this role, you will serve as a technical simulation expert responsible for configuring, adapting, troubleshooting, and enhancing advanced military simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Your work will directly support the client's wargaming, experimentation, analysis, training, and operational decision-making activities.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in simulation, preferably for military applications
  • Ability to diagnose model behavior, identify data issues, troubleshoot run-time failures, resolve integration problems, and address performance bottlenecks
  • Practical experience with scripting, data files, configuration management, version control, issue tracking, logs, telemetry, and reproducible defect reporting
  • Possess active or eligible security clearance, as required by contract

Nice to have

  • Experience in military wargaming, campaign analysis, mission-level simulation, constructive simulation, or agent-based simulation
  • Knowledge of verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A), model validation, data pedigree, or documentation for analysis credibility
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, Lua, SQL, or other domain-specific configuration languages
  • Familiarity with military operations, joint/coalition planning, force structure, command and control, weapons and sensors, logistics, or mission analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • graduate-level degree preferred

  • Hawaii Pay Range
  • $140,000 - $225,000 USD
