About the role

Job Description WGL - Station Leader - SE Utility Operations The Station Leader is accountable for the strategic & tactical oversight and execution of all field operations and meter service activities within the designated jurisdiction.
Larger Station headcount is generally greater than 50 employees.
This includes emergency response, regional business planning, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of gas within the assigned districts.

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals.
Collaborate with functional leaders to optimize operating efficiency and align execution plans with financial, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
Manage emergency response planning and execution, ensuring quick and effective responses to emergencies.
Develop and manage the station's budget, making necessary adjustments in response to financial analysis and forecasted trends.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Bachelor's Degree preferred
12+ Years relevant experience required
7+ Years leadership experience with broad exposure to gas and/or electric, energy distribution & transmission, and metering systems. required
