Responsibilities
- Performs record keeping/data entry. Record daily reading of equipment and processes.
- Cleans and maintains facilities buildings and grounds.
- Repairs and maintain sewer lines, manholes and lift stations.
- The ideal candidate will perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of sewer collection system conveyance piping, valves, miscellaneous fitting and other assigned assets.
Requirements
- Accrued based on years of experience and calculated on hours worked
Nice to have
- Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
- Flexibility and extended shifts to meet the seasonal demands of the collection system.
- Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.
- Availability for standby duty and the ability to be "on-call," working evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Response to emergency events and alarm callouts required as scheduled and required.
- Requires the ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
- A valid Florida Class "C" Collection System certification is preferred or ability to obtain certification within a year.
