About the role
- This role provides executive ownership of service mapping, configuration governance, and operational data integrity to enable informed incident response, disaster recovery, change management, and risk decisions.
- The Director ensures that system relationships, ownership, and lifecycle data are reliable, automated, and aligned with enterprise resilience and security objectives.
Responsibilities
- Implement governance processes to maintain CMDB data accuracy and integrity.
- Drive automation and system integrations to reduce manual updates.
- Own service mapping for critical business and technology services.
- Support impact analysis for change management and incident response.
- Partner with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure configuration alignment.
- Support enterprise Recovery Time Objective (RTO) / Recovery Point Objective (RPO) definition through validated service relationships.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate service risk, operational resilience posture, and configuration integrity metrics clearly to executive leadership, audit stakeholders, and cross-functional governance committees.
