About the role
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate is responsible for assembly of new product including, but not limited to gearcases, wheels, bottom blocks and also for disassembly and cleaning / reassembling customer supplied rebuilds.
Responsibilities
- The mechanical assembler is responsible for working with the lead person, supervisor, and possibly the engineering dept. when issues arise.
- Perform Crane / Fork truck inspection prior to use.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., be capable of doing some pounding and have the ability to operate power tools.
- This position requires attention to detail and the ability to produce a quality product in a timely fashion.
- The ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies is required.
Nice to have
- Able to read and understand blueprints.
- Be computer literate and have good communication skills.
- Some mechanical assembly preferred.
