About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining the architecture and technical vision for Supernova's cloud-based Security-Based Lending (SBL) SaaS platform.
This is a strategic and hands-on role that will directly influence Supernova's technical roadmap, guiding the development of robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
The Senior Software Engineer will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence across our technology stack.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performing, and secure systems that support our business services and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
Build and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Address technical debt, refactor code as necessary, and drive improvements in the team's software development processes and practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

A Master's degree is a plus At least 5 years of software development experience with a focus on backend development, either in ETL job design and development, or Web Service API development.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda development in Python is a plus.
Experience in Java or Python library is a plus.

Compensation

$100,000 - $150,000 per year Additional
