About the role
- Semtech is looking for a numbers savvy Financial/Market Analyst Intern!
- The Financial/Market Analyst Intern will be involved with all phases of planning, forecasting, financial control, reporting, analysis, financial modeling, and also participate on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting for decision support.
- Support and understand strategic goals and product lines of the SIP Division to help achieve their ABP.
- Execute ad-hoc financial/quantitative analysis and various reporting requests in support of divisional and corporate managers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance
- Experience using Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills (Vlookups & Pivot Tables).
- Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask.
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.
Nice to have
- financial/business modeling experience a plus.
- Detail oriented mindset, strong data analysis skills
