About the role

Our Solution Engineers play a vital role in demonstrating and communicating the value of SailPoint's products and thought leadership to our prospective customers in the Identity Governance market.

Hire, coach, and drive an outstanding Solution Engineering team to deliver against assigned goals
Work to improve the SailPoint sales methodology and processes effectively, including development of product presentations and demonstrations tailored to our partners requirements and tuned to suit the level and nature of the audience
Assess gaps in evolving training needs and then create and implement programs to improve sales, product and technology skills of the Sales Engineering team
Manage relationships with product teams & decision makers both internally and externally

Previous experience, 5+ years as a sales engineering manager and 5+ years as a sales engineer
The ideal candidate will already have a good understanding of the solutions, market dynamics and best practices in the Identity Security market

Bachelor's in Computer Science or global equivalent experience
Preferred, not required: Bachelor's in Computer Science or global equivalent experience

$142,660 - $240,531.20 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
