Responsibilities
- Lead utility coordination across Florida while growing the firm's utility practice as a seller-doer.
- Interpret roadway plans, utility agreements, work schedules, and contract documents, ensuring compliance with FDOT, FHWA, and AASHTO standards.
- Lead coordination, stakeholder, and progress meetings, mentor utility coordination staff, and provide quality assurance and quality control oversight on deliverables.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with FDOT District personnel, municipalities, counties, utility providers, contractors, and teaming partners.
- Lead proposals, interviews, technical presentations, scope development, and fee negotiations, and maintain an active opportunity pipeline.
- Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and estimates; monitor performance, profitability, utilization, and client satisfaction; and oversee delivery, billings, accounts receivable, and contract administration.

- Role Summary GFY, an SSR company, is seeking an experienced Senior Utility Coordinator / Business Development Manager to lead utility coordination and grow our utility practice across Florida.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 10 years of FDOT utility coordination experience.
- Proven experience with utility agreements, utility work schedules, utility permitting, and utility relocation coordination.
- Demonstrated business development experience, including client relationship management, proposal development, and project pursuit activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
