About the role
- Main Focus Act as the subject-matter expert for safety and compliance within warehouse operations.
- Understand and be able to interpret OSHA and other health and safety related regulations.
- Interface with external inspectors and insurance departments along with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Implement warehouse EHS policies and procedures aligned across the region.
- Conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis, create and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment, recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management Perform OSHA compliance audits and EHS inspections.
- Deliver safety training programs (e.g., forklift, ergonomics, PPE, fire drills).
- Coaching employees on observed unsafe behavior Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics (incident rate, lost time, near misses).
Requirements
- Qualifications OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required).
- 2-3 years of experience in safety, EHS, or related fields.
