- Have a complete understanding of the supply base for specified commodities and understanding of all the cost drivers in the specific commodity.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and leading complex/large spend commodity strategies, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships.
- Implements cost savings using various approaches such as: value management, bidding, analytical modeling, supplier development, tail spend management and continuous improvements (Lean / Six Sigma).
- Performs special projects, stretch assignments, ad hoc management requests and continuous improvement initiatives autonomously.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value through data-driven sourcing initiatives
- Ability to negotiate complex supplier agreements and implement solutions to business issues.
- Lead the full contract lifecycle for assigned Delta or Masco enterprise spend areas
- Builds and sustains relationships with suppliers to deliver products that consistently meet or exceed Delta's supplier performance goals and compliance standards
- Lead QBR's to ensure alignment between our business stakeholders and vendors
- Implement and lead SRM programs to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Continuous Improvement approach - take initiative to identify strategy gaps, lead change, and successfully implement results.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills. ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively in a cross functional team setting.
- Ability to travel up to 15% as needed for strategy and/or initiative activities.
Nice to have
- 8+ years of working experience in related fields above (proven success in sourcing and manufacturing organizations preferred).
- CPSM or APICS certification is preferred.
Compensation
- $88,700.00 - $139,260.00 USD
- Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
