4 years of experience with capital projects, plant engineering, construction support, commissioning/startup, industrial operations, or EPC/contractor execution
Ability to read and redline drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, equipment layouts) and coordinate technical feedback with contractors
Strong technical fundamentals and the ability to turn process intent into physical systems that work
B.S. in a Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related physical engineering discipline
2 - 4 years of experience with capital projects, plant engineering, construction support, commissioning/startup, industrial operations, or EPC/contractor execution
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment 5 days a week

Phoenix Tailings is looking for an execution-oriented Project Engineer II - Recycling who wants to be in the field every day helping build first-of-a-kind, cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
You will be part of the project management team leading facility expansion and new construction, working closely with internal engineering, EPC partners, and contractors to coordinate installation, field execution, and startup of key process systems.
Experience supporting capital projects, including managing external contractors, developing SOWs and RFPs, and navigating purchase order and change management processes, will be highly valuable in this role.
