About the role
- Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.
- Prepare financial analysis for health centers and programs.
- Prepare and summarize business insights for management team.
Responsibilities
- Proactively deliver timely and accurate reporting to monitor monthly and quarterly financial changes. Prepare and summarize business insights for management team.
- Develop key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to support management financial awareness and drive fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborate regularly with Controller and accounting team to ensure alignment between budget and actuals as well as understand what is driving variances.
- Create and maintain training materials and procedural documents as it pertains to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Assist in the management, and support and maintenance of financial systems used within the finance and accounting departments.
- Present findings to senior leadership and develop materials for Board Meetings.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent work experience required.
- Master of Business Administration degree, Certified Public Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst preferred.
- Ten (10) years of experience in financial planning and analysis required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience required
- Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County.
Compensation
- Drive the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes utilizing analytical tools and models and working closely with the senior management.
