About the role

  • Detail-oriented Corporate Tax Accountant with at least 2 years of corporate tax experience responsible for supporting federal, state, local, and international tax compliance activities.
  • This role assists with tax return preparation, tax provisions, audits, tax research, and indirect tax filings while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile tax accounts and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
  • Support estimated tax payments and filing extensions.
  • Manage U.S. and international sales tax filings.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related transactions.
  • Maintain organized tax records, schedules, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required
  • Minimum 2 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax/accounting software.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ASC 740 tax provision processes.
  • CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Experience with Avalara AvaTax.
  • International tax experience.
