About the role
- We are seeking an experienced Chiller Service Technician.
- This position will be responsible for performing chiller inspections and maintenance.
- An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc.
- Lead role in defining and developing the training, materials, and tools needed to support our chiller/HVAC maintenance business.
- Maintain all relevant documentation related to all services and tasks performed, including make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues.
Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
- The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Provide detailed, complete, and timely paperwork as required.
- The Required Profile
- Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Nice to have
- Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus
- Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)

- Be available to work some nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
