About the role

The Senior Group Sales Executive is primarily responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals around group ticket sales, group experiences, hospitality packages, and related ticketing opportunities for University of Miami Athletics.
This person should be a self-motivated and positive professional with the ability to identify, cultivate, and close new group sales opportunities across Miami Hurricanes Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Baseball.
This position is responsible for engaging schools, youth sports organizations, businesses, community groups, non-profits, alumni groups, and other prospective group buyers while also servicing existing group leaders and ticket holders.

Develop and sell group ticket programs, theme nights, fan experiences, hospitality packages, fundraisers, and other group-focused opportunities that drive attendance and revenue.
Maintain a professional image and positive attitude.
Effectively use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions.

Coordinate and execute sales calls to potential group customers through prospecting, cold calling, referrals from current customers, database leads, and community outreach.

Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Ability to handle a heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

2-3+ years of sales experience is preferred.
Experience selling group tickets, event experiences, sports/entertainment products, or hospitality packages is preferred.
Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and community outreach is preferred.
