About the role

- Alliance (TOA) is a dynamic, results-focused Community Action Agency providing approximately 50 integrated community-based and clinical programs serving more than 20,000 people annually throughout the state of Maine.
- Through an extensive array of services, TOA provides opportunities for individuals to stabilize fragile situations and then works with them to achieve self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities
- Alliance works with people to build better lives and stronger communities.
- We provide advocacy, leadership, and support to identify the goals and address the needs of individuals, families, and communities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Ability to work in a team environment required.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
- If MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
- A good driving record is required.
- This role is required by the State of Maine to have proof of immunization or documented immunity against rubeola (measles), mumps, rubella (German measles), varicella (chicken pox), hepatitis B (optional), and influenza.
- LCSW or LCPC required; LADC optional and a plus.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a related mental health or substance abuse and co-occurring disorders environment preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Flexible schedule is required.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
- Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.

Compensation
- Competitive pay, full-time schedule with full benefits package provided.
- $75,000 - $80,000/year
