About the role
- In this role, you will design and sustain Mitel products.
- You will partner with cross functional teams such as overseas teams, suppliers and multi discipline teams closely in different time zones.
Responsibilities
- Drive suppliers given limited time and cost.
- Analyze design trade-off
- Support tooling review and production ramp up
- Maintain CAD data, BOMs and drawings in PDM system.
- Collaborate with other disciplines
- Mechanical PCB layout design, common features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees.
- Deliver the required work on schedule
Nice to have
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of mass production and consumer products.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing process(injection molding, sheet metal, compression molding, CNC and etc).
- Solid understanding of product development cycle from concept to mass production.
- Solid understanding of tolerances and GD&T.
- Experience in tolerance analysis is a big plus.
- Hands-on Prototype fabrication experience.(3D printing/debugging).
- Experience working with external suppliers for prototyping, tooling, part manufacturing and EMS.
Skills
- Agile PLM experience is a plus.
- Thermal simulation skill is a plus.
- Pro-e Creo + 3 years (solid modeling, assembly, 2D drawing, Surface modeling is a big plus.
- Top-down modeling is a plus).

- Salary range: CAD $78~88k
