Responsibilities

  • Performs measurements and administers standardized testing within the scope of practice.
  • Documents all treatments including subjective, objective, assessment, and plan for each visit.
  • Performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering the telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Physical Therapy Assistant - KSBHA Required
  • Basic Life Support - BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
  • Required for All Jobs

Nice to have

  • Associate's Degree Physical Therapy Assistant accredited program.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret graphs. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. (Required proficiency)

Skills

  • Demonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for age-specific care as determined by each specific department. (Required proficiency)

Compensation

  • Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
