About the role
- This is your chance to help shape the future of the CER team for Project, Field, and Managers to accelerate delivery, save money, and reduce risk.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product testing, including requirements analysis, design review, formulation of test strategies, design, and execution of test cases, defect tracking, software quality analysis, risk analysis, etc.
- Develop corresponding automated testing tools and cases according to the needs of business lines.
- Collaborate with the extended team of software developers, DevOps engineers, and product designers in the United States and other worldwide engineering sites
- Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test design, defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and interest in developing or maintaining automated test frameworks/cases
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent subjects
- Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative environment with colleagues around the world
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Groovy, or Shell
- Experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of container and microservices technologies
- Good knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft.Net platform is a plus
