About the role
- Job Description: Process Characterization Technician Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Process Characterization Technician to join its world class team.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze process and inspection/metrology data to support engineering evaluations
- Perform defect inspection and characterization using microscopy, metrology tools and analytical equipment.
- Support statistical process control monitoring and assist in identifying process excursions or abnormal trends
- Document experiment results, observations, and process changes in engineering reports and tracking databases.
- The Process Characterization Technician supports process development, characterization and continuous improvement activities within manufacturing and engineering environments.
- ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
Skills
- Process Characterization Technician
- This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies.
- Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing or high-tech production environments.
- Experience supporting engineering characterization or NPI activities.
- Understanding of DOE (Design of experiments) methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Basic computer proficiency including excel, data tracking systems and reporting tools.
- Experience operation or analyzing data from SEM tools is a strong plus
