About the role

  • Job Description: Process Characterization Technician Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Process Characterization Technician to join its world class team.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze process and inspection/metrology data to support engineering evaluations
  • Perform defect inspection and characterization using microscopy, metrology tools and analytical equipment.
  • Support statistical process control monitoring and assist in identifying process excursions or abnormal trends
  • Document experiment results, observations, and process changes in engineering reports and tracking databases.
  • The Process Characterization Technician supports process development, characterization and continuous improvement activities within manufacturing and engineering environments.
  • ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.

  • Process Characterization Technician
  • This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies.
  • Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing or high-tech production environments.
  • Experience supporting engineering characterization or NPI activities.
  • Understanding of DOE (Design of experiments) methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Basic computer proficiency including excel, data tracking systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience operation or analyzing data from SEM tools is a strong plus

  • $28k-$40k
