About the role

The Technical Operations Consultant III is responsible for leading moderately complex warehouse process improvement efforts by analyzing, mapping, and optimizing operations within SAP WM and EWM environments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Facilitates operator/floor-leader workshops; captures decisions and converts outcomes into actionable SOP updates.

Leads workstream-level process assessments and translates findings into improvement recommendations and implementation steps.
Develops comprehensive end-to-end process maps (current/future state) and identifies root causes of bottlenecks and error drivers.
Produces SOPs and supporting job aids; partners with training teams to enable adoption.
Tracks performance metrics and supports periodic audits to ensure SOP compliance and continuous improvement.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Collaborates with supply chain staff and floor leaders to understand specific operational challenges and requirements.
Travels to client sites up to 50% annually to collaborate in person, evaluate operations, and review SOPs and practices in action.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience
or no degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Experience owning deliverables and solving moderately complex problems.
Working SAP WM/EWM proficiency (configuration familiarity or functional understanding sufficient to map processes accurately).
Experience/Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience; or no degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience creating/updating SOPs and supporting implementation in warehouse settings.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (which requires U.S. citizenship).
Strong facilitation; can translate operational/technical concepts into clear, usable SOP language.
Sound judgment; anticipates issues and proposes practical solutions.

Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred) or equivalent.

In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
