About the role
- The Technical Operations Consultant III is responsible for leading moderately complex warehouse process improvement efforts by analyzing, mapping, and optimizing operations within SAP WM and EWM environments.
- Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates operator/floor-leader workshops; captures decisions and converts outcomes into actionable SOP updates.
Responsibilities
- Leads workstream-level process assessments and translates findings into improvement recommendations and implementation steps.
- Develops comprehensive end-to-end process maps (current/future state) and identifies root causes of bottlenecks and error drivers.
- Produces SOPs and supporting job aids; partners with training teams to enable adoption.
- Tracks performance metrics and supports periodic audits to ensure SOP compliance and continuous improvement.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Collaborates with supply chain staff and floor leaders to understand specific operational challenges and requirements.
- Travels to client sites up to 50% annually to collaborate in person, evaluate operations, and review SOPs and practices in action.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience
- or no degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience owning deliverables and solving moderately complex problems.
- Working SAP WM/EWM proficiency (configuration familiarity or functional understanding sufficient to map processes accurately).
- Experience/Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience; or no degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience creating/updating SOPs and supporting implementation in warehouse settings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (which requires U.S. citizenship).
- Strong facilitation; can translate operational/technical concepts into clear, usable SOP language.
- Sound judgment; anticipates issues and proposes practical solutions.
Nice to have
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred) or equivalent.

Compensation
- In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
- The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
