About the role
- This position ensures high-quality beverage and food service by preparing consistently and following standardized recipes.
- Position Details: - Schedule: This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, 38 weeks a year (during academic year).
- This position will be open until filled, with a first review date of August 2, 2026, at 11:59pm.
Responsibilities

- Ability to accurately handle financial transactions, reconcile cash drawers and maintain financial records.
- Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to obtain a ServSafe Certification during the onboarding process
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

- The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday between 8:00am - 4:00pm, hours may slightly fluctuate, however, no evening or weekend hours required.

Skills
- Knowledge of retail sales operations such as operating a point-of-sale system.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety regulations.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistency.
- Ability to provide effective customer service and resolve concerns.
- Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment.
- Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others.
Compensation
- (For current employees, pay may not be restricted to the posted range and will be set in accordance with the Madison College Compensation Manual guidelines for internal salary placement.)
