Requirements
- Minimum of Associates or Technical Degree.
- Minimum 7+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including drug screen, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline preferred.

- Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 yearly.

- Scope of Position
- The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of personnel and production on the shop floor.
- This position implements Lean principles in their area; provides support and oversees the work performed by the Lead Associates; and maintains the physical plant within the assigned area.
- This position is responsible for the supervisor of 10+ union workers.
- This position reports to the Director, Operations.
- This role is onsite and is based in Blauvelt, NY.
- Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Review daily visual production boards to maintain efficient production performance; provides prioritized production scheduling to all Lead Associates and team members.
- Responsible for the implementation of Lean principles in their area to include elements of takt-time, balanced flow process, visual factory, empowered team meetings, total safety, standardized work and world class 5S standards.
- Supervise all work performed in their area; offer coaching/mentoring and/or corrective action when appropriate.
- Develop and empower team members in the application of Lean tools to include facilitation, process mapping, spaghetti charting, and the identification and elimination of the 7 wastes.
