About the role
- Chief Isaac Mechanical is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and machinery.
- This role requires a highly skilled technician who can troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Repairs & Maintenance: Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake work, and hydraulic system servicing.
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform basic welding and fabrication when necessary for equipment repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of work performed, inspections, and parts used.

Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment efficiently.
- & Skills Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in heavy machinery.
Nice to have
- Red Seal or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with air brake endorsement preferred.
- Certification: Red Seal or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with air brake endorsement preferred.
