Responsibilities

  • Maintain system integrity to keep the information accurate and dynamic, thus reducing changeovers on the floor, correct material availability, accurate process flow, and accurate capacity planning.
  • Ordering of materials to meet production schedules - utilizing MRP to create requisitions for ingredients and packaging.
  • Supports both Godiva and pladis products manufactured, both core and seasonal products.
  • Actively manage ingredient and packaging inventories to meet working capital objectives and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Update Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) report to accurately reflect intended build of work in progress.
  • Attend cross functional team meetings - report updates and manage actions items for yourself and communicate summaries to team mates and manger(s)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish objectives and productivity initiatives for strategic categories within Retail Channel and North America Marketing
  • Develop and implement category management methodologies within focused categories
  • Drive the strategic sourcing process, develop category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional teams
  • Perform market and benchmark analysis for focused categories

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement and planning
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Economics from an accredited institution required
  • Ability to work in a growth oriented and fast paced work environment
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders toward sustainable change even when faced with ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently

Compensation

  • Base starting salary ranges from $69k - $87k/year.
