About the role
- Job Description Summary Note: This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 50% of the total number of business days in a given month in the St.
- Without this function, teams risk investing time in low-value ideas, automating inefficient processes, or pursuing solutions that do not address the root cause of operational challenges.
- This role should function as a Lean Six Sigma / process engineering resource focused on analyzing how work gets done across IT.
Responsibilities
- Partner with IT Operations teams to understand current processes, pain points, and demand drivers.
- Support delivery teams by ensuring requirements are clear, processes are understood, and solutions are aligned to business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's: Business Administration, Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science, High School (HS) (Required)
- Computer and Information Science, High School (HS) (Required)
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and more than five (5) years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in the Financial Services sector is preferred.
Skills
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, process engineering, business process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze IT and business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience supporting IT Operations, infrastructure, enterprise technology, shared services, or similar operational teams.
- Strong understanding of automation concepts, workflow improvement, system integration, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
- Ability to assess opportunities for business value, operational readiness, risk, scalability, and measurable impact.
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state process flows, business requirements, functional requirements, and decision points.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or enterprise technology delivery methodologies.
