About the role

  • The School of Philadelphia Ballet is seeking a part-time faculty member to serve as an ambassador for SPB, ensuring positive communication and interaction with all students, parents, teachers, and all other stakeholders.
  • Hours and locations vary and will be set by the School Director and the School Principal.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4-8 hours of instruction, depending on needs and proficiency, during early weekday evening and Saturdays.
  • Additional administration hours may be available depending on needs and proficiency.
  • Extensive experience with classical ballet instruction
  • Strong knowledge of child development
  • Familiarity with the Zoom platform and Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated ability to attract and retain students
