About the role
- Learns insurance principles and processes and applies information system knowledge to improve the cost effective utilization of insurance systems.
- Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
Responsibilities
- i.e upgrade updating a list of applications to support new i.e.
- Provides insurance and technical support to IT staff for the implementation of new systems/solutions, enhancements and maintenance of installed systems.
Requirements
- Typically has 3-4 years of relevant technical or business work experience, with a minimum of 7 years related experience in business analysis.
- Must have highly effective team-oriented communication skills (oral, written, listening).
- Must have ability to conduct meetings with business and project teams.
- Must be able to create and interpret project plans, specifications, flowcharts, programming diagrams, etc.
- Must be competent in reading, analyzing and interpreting technical industry-related journals and DOI filings.
- Must be capable of coordinating and organizing input from various channels, perform negotiation, resolve conflicts and build consensus.
- Ability to apply insurance and information system knowledge to assist business in improving the cost effective utilization of insurance systems.
- Reliable Software has the ability to quickly respond to technology initiatives by strategically acquiring skills and managing available resources.
