Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • ability to learn and utilize inventory management systems.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and basic math skills.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Basic understanding of tools, parts, maintenance terminology.
  • Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum. Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Skills

  • Effectively communicate with cross functional teams on updates to inventory, equipment status, audits, expectations, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct ongoing audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Meet production, safety, and quality goals and hold your teams accountable to specified metrics.
  • Prepare parts and tools into kits for maintenance workers in advance of need.
  • Operate power equipment to move palletized freight safely throughout the warehouse.
