About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with all of the engineering functions in regards to a product or a product family from the initial design through production and transfer
- Key participant in other engineering functions including design, process, production, quality, and reliability
- Organizes the introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production
- Key participant in the design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering of the product, in order to to solve product issues and production problems
- Define and maintain product development roadmaps
- Work cross functionally to drive successful product development and product launches
- Refine product positioning to maximize product value and maintain market relevance
- Maintain continued compliance with relevant codes and standards for existing and new target markets.
- Manage component obsolescence and supply-chain diversification
- Support Operations team in scaling and diversifying manufacturing capabilities
Requirements
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Skills
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Compensation
- $92,800.00 - $127,600.00
- We recognize that each individual brings their own unique experience, therefore the base salary range information shown above is a general guideline only.
