About the role

  • Job Description EBAD seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Deburr Technician, reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor.
  • The position is located in Moorpark, CA.
  • The Deburr Technician is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in our manufacturing processes and is essential in ensuring that all components are free from burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.

Responsibilities

  • Physical Stamina: Capability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate for the Deburr/Assembly Technician role should possess:
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with various deburring tools and techniques, including hand tools, pneumatic tools, and automated deburring machines.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct imperfections with precision.
  • Knowledge of Blueprints: Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with them.
  • Inspecting parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and documenting any deviations.

Skills

  • Removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined parts using various tools and techniques.
  • Ensuring deburring tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.

Compensation

  • $20.00 - $35.00 per hour. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
