About the role

  • This role bridges vision and execution, translating bold ideas into actionable strategies that strengthen Family Promise's programs, networks, partnerships, and funding model.
  • The CSO is a strategic member of the senior leadership team with direct department responsibilities and serves as a connector across teams, ensuring alignment while identifying opportunities for growth, innovation, and system-level change.

Responsibilities

  • What You Will Lead and Own
  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic plan focused on preventing and ending family homelessness.
  • Support the development of new funding streams, including major initiatives and national campaigns.
  • Lead strategy for government relations and advocacy to advance policies that prevent family homelessness.

  • Proven track record of leading strategic planning and execution in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Leadership experience in a fast-growing organization managing significant scale and change
  • Experience working with national teams or federated models strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
