About the role

  • We are seeking a Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater, to join TYLin's Water Sector.
  • Liaise with clients, municipalities, and other agencies to secure approvals.
  • May conduct construction inspection services and construction administration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design with review/input from the various municipal/utility/approval agencies/stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals.
  • Assist developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
  • Prepare contract documents for construction (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications).
  • May provide services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
  • Mentor recently hired junior team members on the various facets of municipal infrastructure design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the execution of wastewater infrastructure (sewer pumping stations, booster pumping stations, reservoir and elevated tanks and water and wastewater treatment plants) projects.
  • Experience with Master Planning, Class EAs and DWWP and/or ECA process in Ontario considered or equivalent in other Provinces is considered an asset.
  • P.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.
  • Contract administration experience is considered an asset.
