About the role
- This is a union position and the pay rate is $32.18 per hour.
- This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in North East, PA.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration, and facilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping components, motor s, pumps, control panels, pneumatic systems, and controls
- Collaborate with production and processing teams to maximize machine uptime
- Use of computerized Maintenance Management System to document work orders, parts usage, and equipment information
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and suggest efficiency improvements
- Recommend and implement changes to improve equipment performance and reliability
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of machine maintenance and repair experience required
- Multi-craft skillset including experience with Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, and mechanical systems
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience preferred in a manufacturing/processing environment as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Utilities Operator, Refrigeration Technician, or Preventative Maintenance Technician
- Experience in a food, beverage, and/or GMP compliant environment preferred
