About the role
- Iron Bow is looking for a Project Assistant to support the refresh team coordinating PC Refresh activities and other project tasks in support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) initiative.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor refresh / project plans and schedules
- Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Assist in developing PC Refresh strategies and standard set of tasks that can be used by the PC Refresh Team
Requirements
- Up to 25% travel may be required for this role.
- Additional tasks as required
Skills
- You have an Associate's degree + 1-2 years' experience as a Project Assistant; experience can be substituted for education
- You've been responsible managing large scale orders and corresponding communications
- You've spent your career managing smaller projects with 1-2 stakeholders
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- You possess strong executive presence, polish, communication skills and emotional intelligence. (Ability to host and conduct meetings.)
- You have prior experience of managing multiple deadlines
- You have demonstrated the ability to utilize Google map
- You're experienced with scheduling
- You have expertise working with spreadsheets
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $ 20-26.50 /hr.
- This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
