Consult with Relationship Managers in recommending loan structure, presentation of financing proposals, and negotiation of finance terms with client.
Continuously contribute to improving the quality and consistency of the business' underwriting standards and service offering to clients.
Assist in training and development of credit analysts and underwriters through effective coaching and professional development opportunities.
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Webster credit products and services and the ability to form trusted consultative relationships with clients.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
10+ years in commercial banking, private credit, commercial finance with formal credit training and experience in senior underwriter role.
Strong finance, credit, accounting, and financial statement analysis skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with Clients, RMs, PMs, Senior Risk Officers, and Executive Management.
