About the role

  • Quality Technician reports to the Quality Control Manager and is responsible for in-process and final QC testing of Bionostics products.
  • Quality Technicians also participate in instrument validations, routine lab maintenance activities, and help monitor and sustain laboratory and process inventories.

Responsibilities

  • Documents results, processes testing, and refers to past batch records when needed.
  • Manages time well and will put in extended time as needed.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of work performed by the department and continues to learn how to perform multiple functions within the department.
  • Supports and helps others on the team, participates in training of new employees.
  • Performs Laboratory maintenance tasks.
  • Performs daily qualifications and routine maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborates with other departments and team members to make modifications to controlled documentation through the current electronic record keeping system.

Requirements

  • Participates in proficiency rotations through key areas of responsibility in the lab.
  • High School degree with 2+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Science or quality related associate's degree with 1+ years of experience
  • Science or quality related bachelor's degree
  • with a minimum of 0+ years of experience
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work is required.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting of smaller boxes less than 20 lbs
  • Ability work while standing at laboratory bench for long periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on required work.
