About the role
- Quality Technician reports to the Quality Control Manager and is responsible for in-process and final QC testing of Bionostics products.
- Quality Technicians also participate in instrument validations, routine lab maintenance activities, and help monitor and sustain laboratory and process inventories.
Responsibilities
- Documents results, processes testing, and refers to past batch records when needed.
- Manages time well and will put in extended time as needed.
- Demonstrates knowledge of work performed by the department and continues to learn how to perform multiple functions within the department.
- Supports and helps others on the team, participates in training of new employees.
- Performs Laboratory maintenance tasks.
- Performs daily qualifications and routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborates with other departments and team members to make modifications to controlled documentation through the current electronic record keeping system.
Requirements
- Participates in proficiency rotations through key areas of responsibility in the lab.
- High School degree with 2+ years of relevant technical experience
- Science or quality related associate's degree with 1+ years of experience
- Science or quality related bachelor's degree
- with a minimum of 0+ years of experience
- Availability for overtime and weekend work is required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Lifting of smaller boxes less than 20 lbs
- Ability work while standing at laboratory bench for long periods of time.
- Ability to focus on required work.
