About the role
- Today, Shelter House is a successful and reputable organization of over 100 employees committed to preventing and ending homelessness and domestic violence.
- In the last year, our compassionate team of individuals changed the lives of nearly 2,000 individuals, half of which were children.
- This position is responsible for crisis intervention, facilities management, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the front desk and maintaining a positive living environment within the shelter.
Responsibilities
- Since the organization's inception, we have adapted and grown to meet community needs, all while working in partnership with government and private partners and community members.
- The Residential Coordinator is the lead person on shift acting as the first point of contact for client needs and support.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in human services Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team members Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- A bachelor's in human services/ related field Experience working in programs serving victims of domestic violence Experience working in a residential environment
Compensation
- 401K contributions with a 4% employer match Two Semi-Annual
