About the role

Today, Shelter House is a successful and reputable organization of over 100 employees committed to preventing and ending homelessness and domestic violence.
In the last year, our compassionate team of individuals changed the lives of nearly 2,000 individuals, half of which were children.
This position is responsible for crisis intervention, facilities management, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the front desk and maintaining a positive living environment within the shelter.

Since the organization's inception, we have adapted and grown to meet community needs, all while working in partnership with government and private partners and community members.
The Residential Coordinator is the lead person on shift acting as the first point of contact for client needs and support.

A high school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in human services Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team members Strong verbal and written communication skills

A bachelor's in human services/ related field Experience working in programs serving victims of domestic violence Experience working in a residential environment
