About the role
- Salary Range: $ 73,550 *This position does not offer relocation assistance at this time **Sponsorship is not available for this role *Are you fluent in English and other languages?
- In order to become permanent, the employee who is provisionally appointed must take the next examination for the position in question.
- The appointment to the position is then made from among the three highest scoring passing candidates who indicate their willingness to accept the position.
Responsibilities
- Skills related to graphical design of printed and digital materials, including experience in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software, and experience creating highly visual reports and documents
- Practice as a problem solver who will help identify solutions and manage processes to facilitate effective planning procedures, policies, and programs.

Requirements
- Experience with public outreach, community engagement, and stakeholder coordination
- (A) Graduation from a college with federally-authorized accreditation or registration by NY State with a Master's Degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field, AND one (1) year of experience planning transit-orient developments in downtowns or neighborhood centers in suburban areas
- (B) Graduation from a college with federally-authorized accreditation or registration by NY State with a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience planning transit-orient developments in downtowns or neighborhood centers in suburban areas.
