About the role
- The Expediter is responsible for coordinating the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring dishes are prepared correctly, timed appropriately, and delivered to the correct table.
- This position acts as the bridge between the kitchen and servers to guarantee a successful service.
- This position reports to the Chef de Cuisine.

Requirements
- One-year related experience required
- Knowledge of quality and sanitation standards
- Ability to use kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays
- Ability to work under pressure in a face paced environment
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
