About the role
- This is a front‑office lending role within ING's Specialized Lending platform.
- The analyst will work closely with Relationship Managers, Directors, Managing Directors, and sector specialists and will gain exposure to industry dynamics, asset values, legal structures, and risk considerations specific to transportation assets.
Responsibilities
- Building, reviewing, and updating financial models, including collateral and borrowing base analyses (where applicable), valuation, asset-level cash flow and depreciation assumptions, downside and recovery analyses, and internal risk rating tools
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Legal, Loan Operations, Treasury, and Finance, and with external parties (e.g., counsel, technical advisors, and appraisers) as needed to support transaction execution and closings
Requirements
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sectors and teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- 1+ years of relevant experience in lending, corporate finance, structured/asset-based finance, project finance, or investment banking; Transportation & Logistics sector exposure is a strong plus
- Strong financial and credit analysis skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and cash‑flow‑based and secured lending fundamentals
- Financial modeling including sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
Nice to have
- Transportation & Logistics sector exposure is a strong plus
- 1+ years of relevant experience in lending, corporate finance, structured/asset-based finance, project finance, or investment banking
Compensation
- The salary range listed reflects base salary only.
- $1 05,000-$115,000
