About the role
- This position is responsible for caring for antepartum patients, laboring patients through childbirth, recovery, and postpartum, providing family centered care including the well newborn and the Level 2 Nursery.
- Assure expert, compassion, individualize nursing care for patients and families expected.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety and satisfaction.
- Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures as needed
- Delivers excellent service by utilizing Relationship-Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients and families.
- However, our skilled team also expertly manages high-risk conditions such as preterm births and preeclampsia.
- We're proud to offer a single-suite OR designed for family-centered cesarean sections and a 6-bed Level II nursery that cares for babies 32+ weeks gestation.
Requirements
- One-year clinical experience required.
- Basic Life Support ( BLS ), required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider ( NRP ) certification, required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Safety ( ACLS ) certification, required.
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
Compensation
- $37.90 - $60.45 USD
