About the role
- The University of Miami/UHealth Department Neurology has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Outreach Specialist 2 (H) to work in Miami, FL.
- Assists in the publishing activities: writing, editing, budgeting, scheduling, and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other members of the team on special projects and events.
- Research community leaders and organizations aligned with CCBH's mission and services in order to build relationships and collaborate in healthy brain aging initiatives serving diverse populations.
- Collaborate with activity Instructors and offer outreach activities to diverse community groups.
- Maintain effective communication with current and prospective community leaders and community members to ensure CCBH goals and objectives are met.
- Create print and electronic brochures/flyers/tools/products for CCBH's services with messaging and images for the specific communication goals.
- Maintain and store on CCBH cloud storage.
- Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, records, and documents to coordinate and implement CCBH activities, programs, and events.
- Responsible for outreach events, including initiating, planning, communicating to all involved parties, transporting materials, giveaways, and equipment to the venue, and serving as CCBH lead at event.
- Maintain outreach flyer and document printed inventory and maintain on the CCBH cloud storage.
- Track all outreach initiative efforts and details on OER tracker, including contacts, Instructors, attendees reached or served, event feedback, and next steps for relationship building.
