Perform diagnostic tests on mechanical components with engineering support.
Assemble, disassemble, repair, and maintain mechanical systems or subsystems.
Maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform tasks with attention to detail and minimal difficulty.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
The Technician provides support to engineers in the areas of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or machining assembly, disassembly, repair, and maintenance under the supervision of the respective chief engineer.

Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
Maintain required tolerances and finishes according to engineering and manufacturing standards.
Knowledge of cutting tools and inserts for turning, drilling, boring, threading, and milling.
Ability to obtain university approved driver card.
Experience in application of anodizing, primer, paint, etc.
Certified forklift operator is preferred.
