About the role
- Determines condition of equipment by preforming all inspections of both incoming (off rental) equipment and outgoing (on rental) equipment inspections to include visual, safety, and proper operation of the equipment.
- Continually updates product knowledge needed to work on new models.
- Cleans equipment by operating wash rack steam cleaner and high-pressure washer.

Requirements
- Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
- Completes reports as requested by entering the required amounts of fuel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) required to properly refill the tanks.
Skills
- One-year minimum experience with heavy equipment/diesel experience
- May be currently enrolled in a heavy equipment/diesel program
- Certification or degree from accredited trade program strongly preferred.
- Must demonstrate customer service skills.
- Must have experience using electronic devices such as laptops tablets, smart phones, and cell phone applications.
- Must have a valid California Class C driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must read, write and speak English fluently.
- Walking and moving about on foot often up and down equipment and stairs.
