Responsibilities
- The Sensitive Activities Policy Staff Officer III will support the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)).
- This role involves providing oversight, developing policy, and ensuring compliance for sensitive activities and related programs.
- Assist leadership in the conduct of oversight and governance, including staff assistance visits and compliance inspections for DoW sensitive activities and support activities.
- Develop and coordinate staff packages that include time-sensitive requirements for leadership to enable DoW sensitive activities and support activities.
- Provide recommendations and prepare staff packages to support updates to DoW-level policies and procedures.
- Produce and disseminate reports and briefings that detail DoW sensitive activities and support activities and investments for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an oversight role for DoW clandestine and sensitive activities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with DoW and/or IC special access programs and related security requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing and interpreting legislative language and impacts to DoW clandestine and sensitive activities and interacting with congressional committees on DoW/National Security Issues.
